Real Estate Gina Piper September 17, 2025
This year, I celebrate 30 years in San Francisco East Bay luxury real estate, and I am filled with gratitude for the journey, the lessons, and the many people I have had the privilege to serve.
I was born and raised in Pleasanton, and the beauty of the San Francisco East Bay has always inspired me. In my last year of university, I realized that working in real estate was what I truly wanted to do. I wanted to help people find their place in this community I have always loved.
When I first started, it was not easy. I was young, with no client base, and I spent my first year knocking on doors, making phone calls, and struggling to earn trust. There were times I wondered if I had made the right choice, but those challenges taught me resilience, patience, and the importance of always putting people first.
Building Skills and Earning Trust
As I grew in the industry, I focused on mastering negotiation and client service. I learned that real estate is not only about houses, it is about guiding people through one of the most important and emotional decisions of their lives. Along the way, I was blessed to receive recognitions I never could have imagined back in those difficult early days. They take me back to the moments when I wondered if I should give up, and they remind me how grateful I am that I stayed the course, kept learning, and never lost sight of why I began. Being voted Pleasanton’s Best Realtor® for nine consecutive years, ranking among the Top 100 agents in the Bay Area for nearly two decades, and being named the #1 top-producing agent for Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate in 2018 are honors that fill me with both joy and humility.
A Dream Realized
My passion for helping families find their homes also inspired me to help animals find theirs. Serving as a past Chairman and current director of the Valley Humane Society in Pleasanton, and organizing Party for the Pooches with my husband, has been one of the most fulfilling parts of my journey. Whether it is a family or a rescue dog, there is nothing more rewarding than helping someone find a safe and loving place to call home.
That same passion eventually led me to create Elation Real Estate, a longtime dream of mine. After experiencing the challenges of starting out on my own, I wanted to build a place where agents could feel supported and encouraged, with the kind of guidance I once wished I had. Today, I am proud to see that vision come to life. Helping agents grow with confidence while ensuring clients receive the highest level of service has become one of the most meaningful parts of my career.
Looking Ahead
Thirty years later, I still wake up each morning excited to do this work. I love the Tri-Valley, the San Francisco East Bay, and I am grateful for every client who has trusted me with their journey. Looking back fills me with pride, and looking ahead fills me with joy for what is still to come.
