I, along with Elation Real Estate, was recently nominated for an Impact Maker Award from the Tri-Valley Nonprofit Alliance. Their 4th Annual “Power of Giving” award ceremony took place last night at the Bankhead Theatre in Livermore. It was a wonderful, well-attended event featuring Roberta Gonzales as the keynote speaker. I was truly honored and humbled to be considered in the Corporate Partner category, alongside other nominees such as Fremont Bank, Lawrence Livermore Lab, and CHEF – The Community Health and Education Foundation. I felt small in comparison to these massive, multi-million- or multi-billion-dollar organizations, but I am nonetheless very proud of the contributions we’ve made to so many people and nonprofit groups in Pleasanton and the Tri-Valley. Fremont Bank, which recently donated $200,000 to Open Heart Kitchen and over $40 million to more than 4,500 Tri-Valley organizations over the years, deservedly won the award. Thanks to our many friends and clients, we’ll keep forging ahead and fighting the good fight, in hopes of one day catching up to Fremont Bank!
